Bracciano Lake

A Limo tour to Rome’s Countryside

If you are looking for the picturesque type of day, when in Rome, we recommend a day in the Bracciano Lake. A perfect activity to immerse in the popular culture and blend in with the ever so welcoming atmosphere. You are going to love the sceneries, the rustic architectures, the narrow streets and the easy lifestyle, surrounding the lake. The Third biggest lake in Italy, it hosts 3 beautiful little villages:

A gorgeous lake view town called Trevignano Romano, the village is an absolute wonder, with the Etruscan imprint, typical of the area. This little town has so much to offer, as you’ll discover. You must opt for a stop in one of the local restaurants. A delicious meal. the local cuisine here is scrumptious, to enjoy in a veranda overlooking the lake. This makes the day all so special.

There is also Bracciano, famous for it’s 15th Century Medieval Castle, the Odelscalchi Orsini. Beautifully preserved and open to visits. It is known worldwide, not just for it’s historical beauty, but also for being venue to so many incredible events, hosted by Vip like Tina Turner or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Anguillara Sabazia is the third village surrounding the Lake. Beautifully perched on a niche in the lake, the old part of the town, the Centro storico, hosts some of the most beautiful views of the lake you’ll ever see.

While you explore the area on this beautiful limo tour, we highly recommend stopping by the ancient village of Calcata. Almost uninhabited, it is built on a cliff rock, entirely in tuff, overlooking the forest below. It is so peculiar, this village is mostly populated by artists and writers. True, it’s not hard to find one’s inspiration here.
